Officers of the Pennsylvania Line, on behalf of those who served in the 1st and 2nd Provisional Battalions in the southern army, at the siege of Yorktown, Va., and in Col. Craig's detachment, composed this American revolutionary war draft petition, or "memorial," regarding soldiers' pay, which features detailed references to currency depreciation and soldiers' financial hardships.
